TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup on a mission to restore the economics of air defense through scalable, cost-effective, AI-powered systems. Our autonomous counter-drone solutions are designed to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers combining expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.
We are looking for a unique leader who is both a world-class engineer and a credible operational strategist. This role is the critical technical bridge between our sales team and our end-users.
As our Lead Solutions Architect, you will be the senior technical partner to our entire sales organization. You will report directly to the Sales Team and be responsible for building the team of "mission engineers" who design how our system integrates into a customer's complex operational environment. You will be the primary technical voice from the field, shaping our product roadmap by ensuring it solves real-world integration challenges.

Your roadmap to make an impact

Build the Team - You will hire, train, and lead a world-class, international team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs) who are the technical experts in every sales cycle.
Create the Playbook - You will build the technical sales playbook from the ground up. This includes standardizing our demonstration processes, our framework for responding to complex technical tenders, and our methodology for designing customer-specific "mission solutions."
Win the Technical Deal - You and your team will partner with the sales organization to win the most complex and strategic customer accounts. You will be the customer's trusted technical advisor, proving our system can solve their unique problem.
Be the Voice of the Field - You will act as the primary technical feedback loop to the Head of Product Management and the CTO's Chief Engineer, providing invaluable, real-world data on customer requirements and integration challenges to shape our product's future.

Who you are

A Proven "System-Builder" - You have 8-10+ years of experience in a deep-tech environment, with a demonstrable track record of building and leading a pre-sales, Field Engineer, or systems engineering team.
Operationally Credible - You understand our end-user. Previous military service or deep, direct experience with military/security operations is a significant advantage.
Deeply Technical - You are a highly credible systems-level engineer, likely with a background in robotics, C2 systems, aerospace, or complex software integration. You can confidently lead technical workshops with a customer's most senior engineers.
Commercially Savvy - You excel at mapping complex technical features to a customer's operational needs and business value. You are an exceptional communicator and presenter.
A "Player-Coach"- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on mentality, capable of both building a team and personally leading the technical solution for a critical deal.
Bilingual - You are fluent in both German and English.
