TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.
We are looking for skilled and motivated Flight Testing & Operations Engineers to support our main pilot during ongoing UAV missions and testing campaigns. This is your role if you're passionate about FPV or fixed-wing drones, enjoy being in the field, and want to help shape the future of drone operations.

Your roadmap to make an impact

Contribute directly to field missions by supporting test flights and operational drone missions in the field
Assist the lead pilot during flight operations including the preparation of equipment, airframes, and ground stations
Play an active role in pre-flight planning, rigorous safety checks, and detailed post-flight reviews
Take over manual flight tasks and specific test scenarios as co-pilot or pilot in training
Train other team members and partners on safe and effective operation of our UAV system
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to provide insights from flight testing that drive product improvements
Be prepared to travel to diverse test and mission sites, both domestically and internationally
Support flexible testing schedule, including night flights and flexible testing hours based on mission demands

Who you are

Experienced drone operator, ideally with hands-on FPV and/or fixed-wing flight experience
Passionate about unmanned systems and real-world UAV operations
Comfortable with tools, basic setup/maintenance of drones, and ground control stations
Reliable, safety-conscious, and adaptable to rapidly changing environments
Able to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team during high-pressure scenarios
Willing and able to travel frequently, including occasional weekend or night deployments
Experience with RC systems, flight logs, and flight planning tools is a plus
English proficiency required; other languages are a plus
