TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers combining expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.

We are looking for a cUAS Operator deployed in Ukraine who is eager to make a real difference. In this role, you will operate at the frontline of development and deployment, supporting real-world engagements and driving our interceptor system toward operational readiness. You will work directly with Ukrainian forces, test and adapt our systems under combat conditions, and bring insights back to the team to iterate fast and effectively.

Your mission
  • Deploy and operate TYTAN systems in Ukraine, supporting mission partners in live scenarios

  • Plan, prepare, and conduct advanced flight testing activities under field conditions

  • Take responsibility for combat trials, tactical demonstrations, and on-site operator training sessions

  • Document system performance in operational environments and analyze results to drive iterative improvements

  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to prioritize urgent field-driven updates and ensure rapid integration

  • Identify product improvement opportunities through hands-on use and direct user feedback

  • Serve as the on-the-ground bridge between end users and our development team

  • Support the path to full product qualification and mission-ready deployment


Your profile
  • Degree in Robotics, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering and 1+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with autonomous aerial systems, UAV electronics, or tactical integrations

  • Hands-on FPV pilot or drone operator experience in complex or stressful environments

  • Pragmatic problem-solver with the ability to balance urgent field needs and long-term goals

  • Able to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams under pressure and uncertainty

  • Comfortable in high-stakes environments, including temporary deployments to military or government partner locations

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality with solid multitasking and self-organization abilities

  • Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and conversational English
