TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.

We are looking for a new team member who is eager to make a real difference! As a UAV Technician, you will ensure our products are built and scaled to deliver industry-leading safety, reliability, and performance.

Your mission

Take a leading role in building a team and infrastructure to enable the mass deployment of unmanned systems
Plan and coordinate production workflows to meet deadlines and specifications
Oversee and execute the hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and testing of UAVs and their subsystems
Support flight testing activities to ensure performance and reliability
Develop and implement new methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and traceability
Collaborate with engineers to translate designs into functional prototypes and production-ready UAVs
Manage supplier and vendor relationships, overseeing procurement and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective materials
Maintain lab organization, equipment, and safety standards

Your profile

Completed apprenticeship or craftsman training in a relevant field with 1+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in additive manufacturing, laser cutting, CNC machining, sheet metal work, soldering, and spot welding
Working knowledge of UAV-specific electronics, avionics, and related components
Skilled at sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating material procurement
Balances creative, out-of-the-box thinking with practical, long-term solutions to address both immediate and future needs
Highly self-organized, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality with solid multitasking and self-organization abilities
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Fluent in German or English
